This beautiful sanctuary offers a peaceful space for reflection and prayer, perfect for recharging your energy. Before concluding your experience, you must visit the sanctuary’s shop and take home a special keepsake, such as a rosary or a medal, to connect yourself with this sacred place.

Mary, Undoer of Knots

The “Virgin, Undoer of Knots” Pope Francis’ favorite devotion, arrives in Mexico.

The image of Mary, Undoer of Knots, serves as an allegory for human difficulties, symbolized as colorful knotted ribbons that the Virgin untangles and loosens, like a mother helping her children.

Her devotion teaches that her boundless love can grant requests and resolve conflicts (“undo knots”).

She is attributed with the power to untangle the knots that complicate people’s lives and resolve their problems.

It is said that the Virgin, Undoer of Knots, intercedes with God to help people find solutions to complicated situations and conflicts in their lives.

Today, she is known worldwide. Her sanctuary has grown in infrastructure and keeps growing. It started with dirt paths and now features multiple chapels and pathways adorned with white ribbons, symbolizing petitions from the faithful, and areas filled with colorful ribbons representing gratitude for favors granted. Over 25,000 people visit each week.

The Hermitages: Guardian Angel, Padre Pio, and Sleeping Saint Joseph.

Amid the jungle, there are 1,100 marble crypts made from Santo Tomas stone near the Virgin’s image.
